Report on LarKC exchange visit published in prestigious Chinese review journal

PhD student Yi Zeng from the International WIC Institute (WICI) at the Beijing University of Technology made an extended research visit in 2009 to the VUA Knowledge Representation and Reasoning Group in Amsterdam. His trip report notes have now been published in the “Scientific Commentary Column” of a prestigious Chinese journal entitled the “Science & Technology Review”. This column provides a forum for Chinese Scientists world wide to share their scientific comments. The publication of Yi Zeng’s insights is particularly noteworthy as it is rare for the “Scientific Commentary Column” in the journal to publish results from PhD Students. Through this channel, Yi Zeng has succeeded in sharing his lessons and insights on the culture in a European research group to a large Chinese audience. Furthermore comments on his blog-entries (available at [1]) indicate that Yi Zeng’s insights are much appreciated by his Chinese colleagues.
