Finding the links in Linked Data

(by Frank van Harmelen)
Obviously:
Linked Data = Data + Links
Publishing the data is not so hard (see the tutorial), but adding the links is not so easy.
But it just became a bit easier: Silk allows you to write declarative recepies on when to link nodes between different datasets, depending on similarity conditions that the nodes (and their surrounding graphs) must satisfy.
Silk supports not only generating owl:sameAs links, but also other links (one of their example scripts generates dbpedia:director links movies in DBpedia movies and directors in LinkedMDB).
And of course: more data with more links makes the world more interesting for LarKC!

Hi,
Great to read your post about Silk! It’s still in an early stage of development, but if you or anyone else needs help trying it out, please let me know!
